Can you take a backyard studio with you when you move?

A Null Space guide

The retail NULL Studio is designed to be disassembled and reassembled. Its ten-panel construction gives you the option to take your room to another property. Plan the move around access, transport, utility connections and the new site.

Check the next address first

The retail Studio measures 12.83 ft long × 8.8877 ft wide × 10 ft high, with an exterior footprint of about 114 sq ft. Usable interior area is smaller. Leave additional room for assembly, access, outward-opening doors and required setbacks.

Renters need property-owner permission. Confirm site support, anchoring and local requirements at the new address; suitability at one property does not establish suitability at another.

Plan around the modules

Each retail Studio wall panel measures 47.5 × 98.5 × 3 inches. Check the route to the vehicle and unloading access at the destination. Confirm the dismantling sequence, handling and transport arrangements with Null Space. Arrange any required utility disconnection before moving the studio.

Budget for the whole move

Ask for an itemized estimate covering disassembly, packing, loading, transport, unloading, site preparation, reassembly and utility reconnection. Include the cost of leaving the original site in the agreed condition.

Check assembly and disassembly timing with Null Space; it depends on the configuration, site and crew. Allow time for packing, transport, site work and utilities. Where removable supports suit the site, removal can leave minimal lasting change and make the area available for other uses. Support removal, utility disconnection and ground restoration depend on the site.

Start with your two addresses

Review the retail NULL Studio specifications, then contact Null Space with the access conditions at both properties and your preferred timing.
