Not included

Rooftop solar generation. Actual output varies with sunlight, shade and season. Solar alone does not provide power during an outage.

02 / STORAGE + BACKUP

10 kWh storage

Nominal capacity

2 × 5.12 kWh
System listing
UL 9540

Battery storage with a matched inverter and backup controls. Designed around your Studio and selected home circuits.

System listing
UL 9540

Twice the nominal storage capacity of the 10 kWh option. More stored energy does not automatically increase power output; runtime depends on your loads.

kW measures power. kWh measures stored energy. Storage is specified as a matched UL 9540-listed battery-and-inverter system. Usable capacity, output power, solar compatibility and backup circuits are confirmed in your system design.

SYSTEM DESIGN & QUOTES

Plan your energy system.

Email, text or call for a quote. Share your ZIP code, preferred option and the equipment you want to back up. Your quote confirms the equipment, electrical connections and installation scope.

Explore generation, storage & long-term support
01

Generate with solar.

Choose 800 W or 1,600 W of rated panel capacity. Actual energy production depends on your site.

02

Store with a battery.

A compatible battery stores energy for later. Its kWh capacity and inverter output determine what it can run and for how long.

03

Plan for home backup.

We plan the Studio and selected home circuits together, with suitable isolation equipment and professional installation. Your site quote confirms the equipment, circuits and scope.

Before you order

What would you
like to know?

A few answers about the Studio, its price and planning for your site.

Ask Nullspace ↗︎
What exactly is a Nullspace studio?

A demountable backyard room for work, creative projects or a personal retreat. The current Studio design has ten configurable wall positions: three on each long side and two on each short side. Choose solid wall, glass, window and door modules in the 3D configurator.

What does the $18,700 price include?

Null Studio Pro starts at $18,700 with the Studio shell, wiring kit and delivery throughout the contiguous U.S. Light fixtures, floor finish, blinds or shades, AC, solar and battery storage are not included with Pro. Explore Sol or Zeus for additional equipment. Professional assembly is available for $2,000. Tax and site work are separate. Explore the Studio price.

Can I take it with me if I move?

Yes. Nullspace is designed to be disassembled and reassembled. Plan for labor, transport, utility disconnection and a suitable new site. Assembly timing depends on your configuration and site. We’ll confirm the crew and schedule with your quote. Read the ownership guide.

Will it fit my backyard, even if I rent?

The current Studio design measures 12.83 ft long × 8.8877 ft wide × 10 ft high: about 114 sq ft of exterior footprint. Allow additional space for access, outward-opening doors, servicing and required setbacks. Renters need property-owner permission. Check site support, anchoring and local approvals. See the renter guide.

Can the solar-equipped studio back up my house?
